The A-League football champions Brisbane have climbed above the Wellington Phoenix with a 1-0 away win at Adelaide United.
The Phoenix host Melbourne Heart tonight in eighth place, one above the Heart but one below Brisbane, after the Brazilian forward Henrique scored the match winner to breathe life back into the Roar's flagging A-League season.
Henrique's 65th-minute goal at Hindmarsh Stadium delivered Brisbane a fourth win of the season as second-placed Adelaide lost consecutive games.
The Heart are weakened by the loss of first choice centre backs Simon Colosimo and Patrick Gerhardt to suspension, while Socceroos Aziz Behich and Richard Garcia have been left in Melbourne to recuperate following their busy international schedule through December.
