FIFA orders Bulgaria and Hungary behind closed doors

Bulgaria will play their next home football world cup qualifier behind closed doors after racism by fans.

Hungary have been given the same punishment for the anti-semitic behaviour of supporters against Israel.

World soccer's governing body, FIFA has described the behaviour of Hungary fans in the August friendly in Budapest as "abhorrent".

Hungary have also been ordered to pay a fine of 51,000 dollars.

Their next home World Cup qualifier is against Romania in March.

Bulgaria, who must pay a 45,000 dollar fine, were sanctioned for the behaviour of their supporters in the World Cup qualifier against Denmark in October. .

Bulgaria's next home game is against Malta in March..
