The switch of the world number one golfer Rory McIlroy to new sponsor, sportswear manufacturer Nike, is set to be announced in Abu Dhabi next week.
The deal is believed to be worth nearly $300 million over 10 years.
Nike have confirmed there will be a "major announcement" at Abu Dhabi's Fairmont Hotel early next week featuring the president of the company's golf division Cindy Davis and an unspecified "special guest".
McIlroy is due to open his 2013 campaign in nearby Abu Dhabi next Thursday.
