Bonds and Clemens miss out on Hall of Fame

Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens, who starred during the so-called steroid era, have both missed out on being voted into Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame.

It's the first time since 1996 that no one has been elected to the Hall of Fame.

The pair both had their careers tarnished by their alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Others to miss out included outfielder Sammy Sosa and catcher Mike Piazza.

Sosa is believed to have failed at least one drug test while Piazza was also a power hitter in the steroid era.
