Queens Park Rangers are wanting All Whites captain Ryan Nelsen to stay with the English footbal club till their future in the premier league is decided.
Britain's Guardian newspaper reports the manager of relegation threatened QPR, Harry Redknapp. will hold talks with Nelsen next week to try and get him to stay.
Earlier this week Nelsen was unveiled as Toronto FC's new head coach with their Major League Soccer season to commence in March.
The Guardian spectulates QPR's fate might not be sorted out till mid April at the earliest.
