China's Li Na has ended the winning streak of Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska to reach the semi-finals of the Australian Tennis Open.

Li, a finalist in 2011, beat the Auckland Classic champion in straight sets, 7-5 6-3 and will play the winner of the quarter-final between Russians Maria Sharapova, the second seed and former champion, and Ekaterina Makarova.

Radwanska went into the match having won 13 consecutive match wins, having also won the Sydney International title, although Li held a 5-4 advantage from their nine previous matches.
