Top caddie Williams in awe of Ko

One of the world's top golf caddies, Steve Williams, says he's almost lost for words when it comes to the achievements of fellow New Zealander Lydia Ko.

Williams, a longtime for caddy for Tiger Woods among other superstars, says he doesn't know 15-year-old Ko at all, but he's followed her career closely and it's hard to believe her world-beating achievements and the composure she has for one so young.

Bidding for a fourth professional victory on Sunday in Canberra, Ko had a rare over-par final round to finish third at the Australian Open in Canberra.

Williams says everyone's talking about Ko in the States, where the Golf Channel decided to screen live on Sunday's final round, rather than in delay.

In the next few weeks Williams will meet with Ko's mentor Guy Wilson to impart his wisdom about life as a professional, and the world's top caddie says he'd be encouraging her to turn professional.
