Parramatta league club's chief executive Ken Edwards has downplayed fears that the doping scandal hovering over the NRL will frighten off sponsors.
The Eels announced on Tuesday that their nine-year association with their major sponsor will end this season.
The news coincided with Cronulla's announcement that a $1 million a year naming rights sponsor for their home ground had walked away in the light of the doping saga.
The Sharks were one of six NRL clubs named in the Australian Crime Commission's report into the suspected use of banned substances by clubs.
