The Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph says the bye this week could be a blessing after picking up a few more injuries in their Super Rugby loss to the Chiefs.
Number 8 Nasi Manu picked up a foot injury just before half time.
Joseph says it will be good to get back the leadership of Andrew Hore and Brad Thorn for their next match and says the biggest thing to come out of their first up loss was a lack of discipline.
