The world tennis number one Novak Djokovic has extended his unbeaten run to 14 matches after winning his first round match at the Dubai Championship.
Djokovic, whose streak extends back to October, was broken once in the second set but was otherwise untroubled as he beat fellow Serb Viktor Troicki 6-1 6-4.
Amoung the other matches, Juan Martin Del Potro beat Marcos Baghdatis and Nikolay Davydenko beat Janko Tipsarevic.
