11:10 pm on 1 March 2013

The Blues have scored their second bonus point win from two Super Rugby games with a 34-15 defeat of the Crusaders at Eden Park.

The Blues scored five tries to none including three in the first half, with two going to left wing Frank Halai for a 20-12 half-time scoreline. Loose forward Steven Luatua scored the opening try.

The Crusaders' points all came from Daniel Carter penalty kicks, while openside Luke Braid and right wing George Moala scored the other Blues tries in the second half.

A large crowd of just over 31,000 turned up to watch the first Blues home game of the season.
