Hendry wins back to back NZ PGA titles

The Auckland golfer Michael Hendry has won the New Zealand PGA championship for the second year in a row at the Hills course in Queenstown.

Hendry started today's final round one shot behind the leader, but the defending champion picked up five shots throughtout the round to be tied at 19 under par with the Australian Scott Strange.

The two went to a sudden death playoff on the 18th hole in which Strange found the bunker handing

Hendry the victory.
