Wildcats keeping Breakers honest

5:31 am on 9 March 2013

The Perth Wildcats have kept the pressure on the Australian basketball champions, the New Zealand Breakers, with an 83-56 demolition of the Sydney Kings at Perth Arena.

Former Breaker Shaun Redhage top-scored with 23 points.

The Breakers are on top with three regular season games to go, and need to win just one of them to claim the minor premiership and home advantage throughout the playoffs for a third straight year.

The Wildcats have two fixtures left, both at home.

The Breakers have a 22-3 win loss record and their arch-rivals are 20 and six.
