England skipper relieved to be going into Wellington test all even

The England cricket captain Alastair Cook admits he's relieved to be heading into Thursday's second test against New Zealand in Wellington with the series still level, after the drawn first test in Dunedin.

Cook says the Black Caps outplayed them and got into a position to win the game but says he's pleased his side fought back in the second innings after being dismissed for 167 in the first.

It's the fourth time in a row they've posted less than 200 in the first innings of the opening test of a tour and Cook says they must shake off the habit but is at a loss to explain why it's happening.
