Barca do it easy at home over Milan

Barcelona has beaten visitors AC Milan 4-0 at the Nou Camp to reach the Champions League football quarter-finals 4-2 on aggregate.

The Spanish giants needed to win the second leg of their last-16 tie by at least three goals to progress and had few problems, dominating the Italians from the start.

Barca superstar Lionel Messi opened the scoring within five minutes and added a second five minutes before half-time, while David Villa scored the third goal on the 55-minute mark before Jordi Alba finished the rout in extra time.

It's the first time any team has overturned a two-goal deficit in a two-legged Champions League tie without an away goal.

In the day's other fixture, Galatasaray beat Germans Schalke 04 3-2 in Gelsenkirchen with a 95th minute matchwinner to send the Turks through 4-3 on aggregate.
