The Northern Districts coach Grant Bradburn is to stand down at the end of the current cricket season.
Bradburn, a former international, has been in charge of the Knights for five years.
The Knights season could end this weekend in the play-offs of the one day competition.
Bradburn says he's looking at other cricketing options.
Under Bradburn, Northern Districts won the Plunket Shield and one day competition twice.
