Boric makes no secret about money being behind move to Japan

The former All Black forward Anthony Boric is making no secret of the fact money and a chance to prolong his rugby career are behind his decision to head to Japan.

Borich, who's recently overcome a long-term neck injury, has signed a two year deal with Japanese team Mitsubishi DynaBoars and believes the less physical nature of the game there means he'll be able to keep playing longer.

It's same club former All Black first five Stephen Donald has recently signed with having left English club Bath.

Boric says at this stage he intends returning to New Zealand in 2015 in the hope of making the World Cup squad.

He'll join his Japanese club in September.
