Lewis impressed by Ko

The world women's golf number one Stacey Lewis is giving the New Zealand amateur Lydia Ko every chance in this week's first major of the year on the women's tour, the Nabisco Championship in California.

The Nabisco will be Ko's third appearance in a major after competing after playing the British and US Open's last year.

Ko will play alongside one of her idols Michelle Wie for the first couple of rounds and is in the group behind Lewis.

The American says ignorance is bliss for Ko.... she doesn't realize how good she is and is so calm when playing the big tournaments.

Lewis expects the New Zealander to play very well.

15-year-old Ko was given an invitation after winning in Canada last year, one of the 3 professional tournaments she has won.
