Man City striker sentenced to community service

Manchester City's striker Carlos Tevez has avoided jail but been sentenced to perform 250 hours of community service after pleading guilty to two driving offences.

The 29 year old Argentine forward was also handed a six-month driving ban and ordered to pay $2,000 in fines and court costs after pleading guilty to one count each of driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
