The Adelaide Thunderbirds have beaten the Southern Steel 60-54 in their trans-Tasman netball match in Dunedin.
A big second quarter had the Thunderbirds up 31-23 at half-time. The Steel came back to within three points with five minutes remaining but too many turnovers cost the home side.
