Jackson says finals series too long

11:30 am on 5 April 2013

The Breakers point guard Cedric Jackson believes the time off between matches in the Australian National Basketball League play-offs is far too long and staying focused is an issue.

The Breakers and their finals opponents Perth both won their semi-finals series in two and haven't played for a week.

They meet in Auckland on Sunday with game two next Friday and a possible third game the following Thursday.

Jackson says he'd prefer the matches to be closer together.

The finals series is a repeat of last season when the Breakers won in three matches.
