The 15 year old New Zealand amateur golfer Lydia Ko's enjoying a good final round at the Nabisco championship, the year's first major championship of the season.

Ko has completed an unblemished first nine in California with back-to-back birdies to go three shots clear of her nearest amateur rivals.

She's tied for 29th overall, one shot outside the top 20.

South Korea's Park Inbee will tee off with a 3 shot lead.

In South America, Texas-based Danny Lee has slipped into a tie for 6th in the final stages of the Web Dot.com tour's Brazil Classic, and a place in the Masters later this week beckons for the American Billy Horschel who maintains a one stroke lead four holes into his final round at the Texas Open.
