Whincup wins as Coulthard bungles start

The New Zealand Holden driver Fabian Coulthard bungled his pole position start in race two at Pukekohe on Saturday to finish in 10th.

Coulthard started early and incurred a ten second time penalty.

He was the second driver to cross the line, but was promptly demoted.

The Holden of the defending series champion Jamie Whincup started the race in third and slipped by Coulthard to take the checkered flag.

Will Davison was second and Garth Tander third.

The New Zealanders Shane van Gisbergen was 6th and Scott McLaughlin 24th.
