The Rising Queensland fast bowler Cameron Gannon's career is under a heavy cloud after being suspended from interstate cricket for three months for chucking.
Cricket Australia has announced biomechanical analysis reveal Gannon bowled with an elbow extension of 24 degrees well in excess of the legal limit of 15 degrees.
The towering 24-year-old had been reported in three separate Sheffield Shield matches for the Bulls in 2012-13, including twice in the final against Tasmania in Hobart.
Gannon was Queensland's second leading Shield wicket-taker this past season with 31 scalps at 24.
He started the season as a fringe bowler for the Bulls but made the most of his chances following injuries to Ben Cutting, Ryan Harris and Luke Feldman.
Gannon had been tested by Queensland Cricket in previous seasons and was marginally inside the 15-degree barrier.
