Top Queensland league administrator dies suddenly

Queensland sport is mourning the passing of Ross Livermore who was at the helm of Queensland rugby league for 31 years.

Livermore died suddenly on Tuesday aged 68.

The iconic coach Wayne Bennett says Livermore's contribution to league was immeasurable and his legacy will live on through the many changes he helped introduce.

Livermore's funeral will be open to the public at the home of Queensland league, Suncorp Stadium, from 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.
