The Wallabies coach Robbie Deans is set to help Australia try to reclaim the rugby league World Cup from the Kiwis later this year.
Deans formed close links with Tim Sheens when the Kangaroos coach almost joined the Crusaders more than a decade ago, and Deans will be helping Sheens with planning for the tournament.
The World Cup will be held in England and Wales from October.
