Auckland City is through to the semi-finals of the Oceania Champions League after a nail-biting 1-1 draw with AS Dragon in Tahiti.

City just needed the draw with the French Polynesians to advance and they now host Fiji's Ba at Kiwitea Street on Saturday in the semi-final first leg.

The Fijian champions notched five wins and a draw from six group games and boast the tournament's golden boot leader, the Nigerian striker Sanni Issa, who has scored nine goals.

Auckland's arch-rivals Waitakere United defeated an improved AS Mont Dore 3-2 in Noumea to take top spot in group B and set up a last-four clash with Vanuatu outfit Amicale.
