Sharks captain says ASADA keeping players in the dark

The Cronulla captain Paul Gallen claims the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority keeping players in the dark following the suspension of interviews with his National Rugby League club's players.

ASADA's investigation into the alleged use of banned substances at the club in 2011 was put on hold after a stalemate was reached during the first interview yesterday, with backrower Wade Graham.

While there has been no official word from either camp, it is believed lawyers from both sides were unable to agree what constituted 'reasonable assistance' by players in regard to the investigation.

Gallen says the Sharks are powerless to move the investigation along.

He says ASADA doesn't seem to have anyone to answer to and the organisation's doing what it wants and the club can't do much about it.
