World Cup organisers focus on big gates

9:20 am on 3 May 2013

The match schedule for the 2015 Rugby World Cup features eight football stadiums for the 20-team event in England, and only six of the 48 games will be played in the north of the country, compared with almost half the matches in the south-east, 17 of them in London.

The 82,000-capacity Twickenham ground will host 10 games including three of England's four pool games, both semi-finals and the final.

London's Olympic Stadium will host five games, four pool matches and the third-place playoff.

Organisers are under pressure to sell more than two million tickets and make the 80 million pounds which the International Rugby Board has been promised.

The All Blacks will face Argentina at Wembley Stadium in their opening pool game.

Their group also includes Tonga and two yet-to-be named teams from Africa and Europe..
