The three New Zealand drivers remain in the top-10 in the Australian V8 Supercars Championship after three sprint races in Perth.

The weekend belonged to the Red Bull Racing Holden team with Craig Lowndes gaining his record-breaking 91st win on Saturday while teammate and defending champion Jamie Whincup won both races yesterday.

As a result Whincup has regained the championship lead ahead of Will Davison and Lowndes, but the New Zealand trio of Shane van Gisbergen, Fabian Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin continue to make their presence felt.

Van Gisbergen finished seventh and sixth respectively yesterday in the Tekno VIP Holden to be in fifth place in the championship.

Coulthard (Lockwood Racing Holden) was fourth and seventh yesterday to be sixth overall while McLaughlin (Fujitsu Racing GRM) was 14th and 13th to be 10th in the championship.

V8 Supercars now looks forward to an exciting introduction in the USA with the Texas 400 at the Circuit of the Americas in two weeks.
