Dugan joins Dragons

St George Illawarra have signed troubled fullback Josh Dugan for the remainder of the 2013 season after the former Canberra player was granted a conditional registration by the National Rugby League.

Dugan was sacked by the Raiders in March for off-field indiscretions and initially rejected the Dragons after agreeing to terms with Brisbane.

But the Broncos withdrew their offer for Dugan after the New South Wales representative became embroiled in a social media spat with a Canberra fan.

The NRL has released a statement confirming Dugan had the green light to resume his career with the Dragons.
