Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia has no regrets after a meltdown on the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass handed Tiger Woods his second Players Championship win.
Garcia has feuded with Woods in the past and the pair traded barbs after the Spaniard accused the world number one of distracting him while playing a shot in the third round.
They were tied when Garcia was on the tee at the pennultimate hole, but he put two balls in the water on the iconic par-three to walk off the green with a quadruple bogey seven.
Garcia won the 2008 Players Championship in a playoff on the same hole and says today's failure has not dampened his spirits.
He says he loves the hole, famous for its island green, despite it costing him a chance for the 2013 title.
