Luatua ruled out for Blues

The in-form Blues flanker Steven Luatua has been ruled out of this weekend's Super Rugby match against the Brumbies with a neck injury.

The Blues have just made two changes to their starting line-up from the side that was beaten by the Crusaders in Christchurch last weekend.

Luatua was one of eight Blues players who attended the All Blacks training camp earlier this week, but had suffered the injury during the Crusaders match.

He had hoped to play this weekend, but the coach, Sir John Kirwan, says he felt the loosie would not have been able to play at 100-percent.

Kirwan says Luatua will definitely be back for next week's clash with the Highlanders in Dunedin.

The second five-eighth, Francis Saili, has been restored to the starting line up in the only other change to the 15.
