Vettori out of second test

Daniel Vettori has ruled himself out of the second cricket test against England, so New Zealand went into the Headingley clash with four pace bowlers.

Vettori, who now just plays the limited overs game, was called into the squad earlier this week following the injury to Bruce Martin.

Vettori has been battling an achilles problem and captain Brendon McCullum says he felt he couldn't get through the five days.

Doug Bracewell, who didn't play in the Lord's test, has been brought into the XI as a fourth seam bowler, while spin duties will be with part-time bowler Kane Williamson.
