Elliott says he doesn't have options

The embattled Warriors coach Matt Elliott has defended the lack of his changes to his squad following their record NRL loss to Penrith last weekend.

The Warriors were thrashed 62-6 by the Panthers, leaving them with just two wins from their first 10 games and sitting at the bottom of the competition ladder.

However Elliott has resisted widespread change for this weekend's home game against the Newcastle Knights, with the return from injury of Kevin Locke and Dane Nielsen the only differences in the 13 named to start.

The first year Warriors coach responded angrily when quizzed on his selection.

Elliott says he still believes in his players' abilities, despite poor results recently.
