Injury woes continue to plague the Warriors as they struggle through their National Rugby League season.

Utility player Ben Henry has become the third player to have his season ended by a knee injury.

Henry suffered the injury at training yesterday and scans have shown he's ruptured ligaments in his left knee and will need surgery.

Henry played in all 24 matches last year and had in appeared in seven games this year after a delayed start to the season.

He joins team-mates Sione Lousi and Steve Rapira who've already had knee surgery.

First-choice loose forward Todd Lowrie is also out of Sunday's match against the Newcastle at Mount Smart Stadium after suffering a rib injury in the loss to Penrith last weekend.

The Warriors are second to last in the competition ahead of only the Wests Tigers.
