The former Crusaders player turned Scotland rugby international Sean Maitland will make his debut for the British and Irish Lions when they play the Barbarians in Hong Kong on Saturday.

It's the Lions' opening tour match before flying to Perth to play the Western Force next week and several other matches ahead of their test series against Australia.

The Lion side will be led by 2009 tour captain Paul O'Connell, and will consist of nine Welshmen, three Scots, two Englishmen and one Irishman.
