The New Zealand golf professional Cathryn Bristow has made an encouraging start at the German Open.
After a lean run in her first six events this European tour season, which have earned her just 1700 euros, Bristow has posted a two under par 70 to be just three shots off the pace leaders on a tightly packed leaderboard.
