The Chiefs' halfback and former All Black Brendon Leonard will head offshore at the end of the Super Rugby season to continue his career in Italy.
The 28-year-old has signed with the Italian club Zebre for two seasons.
Leonard has played 73 games for the Chiefs and wore the All Black jersey 14 times, playing in 13 tests.
