Lisa Carrington won the final of the K1 200 at the latest sprint canoe World Cup event in Poland, her fifth gold medal in three back-to-back World Cup regattas.

Carrington again put her stamp on her Olympic event, winning ahead of Poland's Marta Walczykiewicz and Karolina Naja.

The 23-year-old from Whakatane also won gold in the K1 500 metres earlier, which is her second major title over the distance after winning gold in the Czech Republic last week.

Teneale Hatton and Rachael Dodwell also performed well in the K2 200, coming in sixth in the 'A' final in a time of 42.673, as the pair continue to improve with each outing.
