The Southland cyclist Eddie Dawkins has won the keirin at a Grand Prix track meeting in Paris.
Dawkins held off Frenchman Quentin Lafargue, the former junior world champion, and Dutchman Hugo Haak in the final.
The wins follows his victory in the sprint at Valencia two weeks ago.
