The New Zealand men's hockey team has edged Spain 1-0 to reach the semi-finals at the World League in Rotterdam.
A first-half goal from Hugo Inglis and superior defence was enough to put the still-undefeated Black Sticks into the final four, where they'll play Belgium on Saturday morning for a shot at the title.
The win guarantees a top-four finish at the tournament, putting them one win away from qualifying for next year's World Cup and means they qualify for World League Round 4.
