The Chiefs have moved to secure their future, re-signing their coaching team for two more Super Rugby seasons.

The head coach, Dave Rennie, announced he is sticking with the defending champions until 2015 and is keeping his current assistants, Tom Coventry, Wayne Smith and Andrew Strawbridge.

Rennie says it was an easy decision to stay in Hamilton and hopes locking in the coaching staff will help them to sign the players they want.

The Chiefs also announced the re-signing of six current players for next season, including the uitlity back, Gareth Anscombe, and the prop, Ben Tameifuna.

The lock, Michael Fitzgerald, hooker, Rhys Marshall, prop, Pauliasi Manu, and back, Andrew Horrell have all re-signed with the franchise through to the 2015 season.
