The West Indies star batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul looks likely to return from injury to face the Blackcaps in today's third one day cricket international in Wellington.
Captain Chris Gayle says Chanderpaul's return would be a timely boost for the tourists as they look to continue their winning form at Westpac Stadium.
He says Chanderpaul faced the fury of the Windies fast bowlers in the practice nets yesterday and came through unscathed....but a final decision on whether he plays will be made this morning.
