Kevin Pietersen has confirmed his resignation as England cricket captain while England coach Peter Moores has been sacked.
The wo men have been locked in a power struggle after Pietersen publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the current set-up.
Pietersen will continue as a player and Andrew Strauss will captain the side to the West Indies in two weeks.
