The world number two tennis player Roger Federer has moved into the semi-finals of the Qatar Open with a 6-2 7-6 victory over eighth-seeded German Philipp Kohlschreiber.
The Swiss second seed will next play Briton Andy Murray who beat Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovsky 6-4 6-2 in the last quarter-final.
