Heavyweight Shane Cameron to face technical and physical test

12:13 pm on 9 January 2009

The manager of New Zealand profesional heavyweight boxer Shane Cameron concedes his fighter will be tested technically and physically when he takes on a former prison inmate in his first ever outdoor fight at Gisborne's Rugby Park in March.

The WBO Oriental title and Asia Pacific Heavyweight holder will face American Leo "Paco" Nolan in his 'homecoming' fight outdoors in Gisborne.

Cameron's manager Ken Reinsfield says Nolan is impressive with his 27-win one-loss record and is a hard man to knock down.

Nolan was shot five times and served a four-year prison term in the late nineties after attempting to rob an off-duty police officer.
