The New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori has regained his status as the ICC's number-one ranked one day international bowler.

With an impressive average and economy rate in the first three matches of the current series against the West Indies, the left-arm spinner has moved above Australia's Nathan Bracken.

Four wickets claimed in the series so far have placed Vettori's team-mate Kyle Mills in fourth place.

The big mover is Black Cap Tim Southee who has managed to gain 20 places to put him in 75th position.

It's not such good news for Jacob Oram with the big all-rounder slipping six places to 14th in the bowling rankings but holds onto his number one all rounder position.

No New Zealanders rank in the top 20 one day batsmen.

Overall the New Zealand team remains fifth in the rankings with Australia,South Africa, India and Pakistan making up the top four.
