The New Zealand Breakers basketball team has left for Melbourne with a surprise passenger on the plane - point guard CJ Bruton.
The Breakers take on the league-leading South Dragons on Saturday night and the influential Australian was expected to miss at least another week of action.
However a partial return to practice has convinced Coach Andrej Lemanis that the influential player is worth including.
Lemanis says Bruton can play some part in the game, even though it's likely to only be seven or eight minutes.
