The New South Wales Waratahs have been struck by an injury blow less than two weeks from their first Super 14 pre-season trial game.
It has been confirmed wing Ratu Nasiganiyavi will be out for an extended period with a stress fracture near one of his ankles.
Nasiganiyavi's is the latest in a series of injuries over the past few months which has seen four members of the Waratahs squad ruled out for extended periods.
